Carrum Health is a Centers of Excellence program for self-insured employers that covers bariatric surgery at little or no out-of-pocket cost. All medical costs are covered by the employer, resulting in zero or low out-of-pocket costs.

What is Carrum Health?
Carrum Health was founded in 2014 with a straightforward goal: make it possible for any self-insured employer to offer their employees access to the country's top surgeons without the financial unpredictability that usually comes with major surgery.
Carrum has a more streamlined process compared to traditional insurance companies. By negotiating a single bundled price that covers everything related to your bariatric procedure directly with employers, this translates to zero or low out-of-pocket expenses for employees using the benefit. Carrum works only with world-class surgeons who are selected based on surgery outcomes, safety records, and patient experience.
Dr. Korman is an approved provider in the Carrum Health network. If your employer offers the Carrum benefit, you can choose Dr. Korman as your surgeon.

Eligible members access the full benefit through Carrum's mobile app, which guides you through every step and connects you with your assigned Care Specialist.
